Computers can often become clogged up with dust, dirt, and hair after using them for some time. This will cause the fans in your computer to run slower and not cool off your computer like they should causing your computer will run slower to prevent overheating. Cleaning the fans on your computer is easy to do and only takes about 20 minutes

· Computer duster
· Piece of unpainted metal
1. Step 1
Look for directions on how to take your computer apart. A quick google search can give you detailed diagrams that will help you with this. Do not attempt to take anything apart until you have these directions.
2. Step 2
Follow the diagram you have to take the computer apart.
3. Step 3
Make sure not to touch any of the circuit boards within the computer with your tools or your hands. This can cause them to short out.
4. Step 4
Locate the fans in your computer and remove them.
5. Step 5
Clean the fans by spraying them with the computer duster. This can be purchased from a local computer store and is the only approved cleaning solution for your computer.
6. Step 6
Touch a piece of bare metal often to remove any static electricity from your hand. Static electricity can burn components of your computer our so make sure you do this often.
7. Step 7
Replace the fans you have cleaned and put your computer back together.
